As a four-term elected College of Marin Trustee, I would be honored to continue to serve our community in this capacity. I joined the board when it was in crisis – unable to govern itself effectively. During my tenure, I helped enhance the board’s effectiveness through
- Improved Fiscal Management
- Indian Valley Campus Utilization
- Sustainable Facility Modernization
Also helped establish a pension liability trust fund, a AAA bond rating upgrade, and refinanced bonds to save taxpayer money – greatly contributing to COM’s health.
My goal is to continue to successfully oversee these improvements to the College’s programs and facilities, such as the Student Learning Center, Jonas Multipurpose Center, Miwok Aquatic Center, Project-based Learning, and the On-Line Learning, which enable effective learning experiences for students and serve our community’s greater needs.
Please support me to ensure that this important progress continues. It is a pleasure to serve you.
